Description

The Stone house is semi detached and built in approximately 1874 as part of the Hayton estate village.  The house is well situated and larger than other houses in the village as built to house the estate farm manager. Built from stone quarried locally the property is attractive and retains many original Victorian features. More recently the property has been refurbished and extend to make a comfortable 4-bedroom family home. A particular feature is the 40 foot kitchen / family room at the back of the house with vaulted ceiling and large gallery window with views across the Heyton Estate.

Outside the current owners have added an oak framed detached 3 bay garage. Parking is ample with a large gravel sweep and single-track access directly to the front of the house.

Much remodelling work has been done in the garden to make it private and secluded. The garden is well stocked with flower boarders and many mature trees.

Recently the owners have secured planning permission to convert the roof space, this will change the upstairs from 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms to 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Planning is also granted to add an outdoor swimming pool.
